Being a part of the medical community means that dental offices are taking every precaution possible to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Dental offices are already held to a higher standard of cleanliness and sanitation, but with the new health regulations in place, visiting your Reno dentist is as safe as ever. From social distancing and wearing masks to minor health screenings prior to appointments, you can rest assured knowing we’re doing everything we can to keep our office and our patients safe from the virus. We continue to practice all COVID guidelines set forth by the CDC.

See how Reno dental offices are fighting the spread of COVID-19 with the following safety precautions. And when you’re ready, schedule an appointment with Dr. Kulesa for a check-up!

It Is Completely SAFE to Visit the Dentist During COVID

A lot of people have been asking if it is safe to visit the dentist during COVID-19 and the simple answer is yes. It is now totally safe to visit the dentist thanks to social distancing, mask mandates, regular cleaning routines, and the vaccine. The sanitary procedures we’ve put in place ensure that our facility is clean and disinfected at all times. Cleaning in between each appointment has always been essential in our office, but we’ve added a few extra steps to our routine to really keep things sanitized.

Our office also follows the mask mandates and requires each patient and employee to wear a mask at all appropriate times. Because wearing masks has been proven to limit the spread of the virus, this is extremely important to us.

Other Precautions Our Dental Office is Taking to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19

  • Disinfect all tools and surfaces frequently
  • Clean, replace, and cover all tools between uses
  • Wear additional protective gear such as face shields, disposable lab coats, etc.
  • Allowing more time in between patient appointments to limit the number of people in the office
  • Keeping the waiting room closed until further notice
  • Checking your temperature at the door and asking about other symptoms prior to your appointment
  • Require all guests and employees to wear a mask
